Ouch

Bucky, the gate on my 336 3030 has a very tight spring. I chip nails when I load. I haven't tried that method of unloading. I never even thought to try it. I will. It sure looks like a safer way to unload.

(That's the way I unload my pump shotgun.)

Anyway, what is the remedy for a sharp edged loading port and a heavy springed gate? Gunsmith? Or is there something I can do?

...and I hate it when I chip a nail or mess up the polish.
Loading gate blues

I tried it,I can not get it do work like that...but then again...what do I know. lol
The loading gate on my 336/30-30 is very tight. I tried the fast unload like on the video and I can't do it either. The edges are sharp and need some honing to smooth them out. I wasn't joking as much as complaining when I said it chipped my nails. The edges are sharp enough to cut.
Duh!

Tried it, don't know what they did, maybe a trick.

Back to standard, thanks to Hombre !
I am in the dark...HUH?
OH Yeah!
