Had a good Michigan firearms opening day yesterday. My Marlin 1894 44 magnum performed flawlessly in the field. At 8:45 a.m. this buck stopped between 2 trees at 29 yards, and my Marlin let him have it. He only ran about 40 yards and fell over. Best part of the story, that was my first time out with my new rifle. I absolutely love my Marlin!
