Hello all. New to the site and dreaming of this gun. Does anyone know if this is a real wood stock, love the look by the way, or is it a Composite/ synthetic material? Thanks in advance for the reply.

Yes, it is real wood. They take sheets of real wood and laminate it together to form the blank. The 1895 SBL is a beautiful rifle. I hope your dream comes true soon.
