Just purchased a Marlin 336 in a .35 Rem that was made in 1977 according to the serial number. The barrel is marked as such, New Haven, CT, etc. It also has the WARNING blah blah stamped on the barrel as well. Just wondering what your thoughts were? Original? Probably not? Any information would be appreciated. Thanks everyone!

Pictures would help alot. The stamp would be located near where the barrel meets the reciever, opposite side of the loading gate.
