Anyone have one? I've also heard the triggers are a bit heavy, around 5lbs, a bit more than I like for target and hunting. Do they now have a version of Savage's Accutrigger?

I've got twin baby boys, I no longer get online much...LOL

The XT17 series picked up where the 917 series left off...yes, the XT trigger is better,
and you can order one from Marlin & have a gunsmith install it on your 900-series Marlin

The only changes between the 917 & XT17 were the stock & the trigger...that's it...
but WOW!! talk about a great trigger change!!
