I just posted some pics of the actions of my 99 M1 and 60. Other than barrel length, the top wood piece of the 99, there doesn't seem to be a lot of difference that I can tell.

Dated it at 1967. DK on barrel..

Sounds like a twin brother to mine, also stamped DK. I would like to find the leather sling that I've read originally came with these, as mine is missing.

What's the difference between the 99 and 99 M1. M1 is a carbine so a shorter barrel, has the top hand guard (or whatever it's called), has only a 9-round tube. What else am I missing?
