Hello, this is my first post, I searched around on this forum and I can find the question, but I don't see the answer.

What year did they stop making the old style and switch to a new style Model 60? Or, how can you tell if you have one or the other? I have a 1972 vintage Glenfield and I am looking to get some parts from Numrich and they don't tell what the difference is either.

I called Marlin and talked to a tech this morning. He said all Glenfields are the old style and a Marlin 60 before 1981 would be an old style.
