I am new to this forum. I have been a Marlin fan since I was a kid. I just came across a Marlin Model 1897 manufactured in 1905 The rifle is in excellent condition except it is missing the ejector. There are no screw holes to fasten it so it must have fallen out. Does anyone know where this part could be purchased. Thanks for any advice.

Wisner has them from time to time. Also check ebay. or homestead parts. I bought one from wisner about 2 years ago for my 1897 made in 1902.

Thank you for the information, Wisners had the part . I can now restore the rifle to function properly.
