Although there is a State Law prohibiting this and like info The Dept of Revenue has admitted it released the entire list of CCW permit holders, not once but twice, to the Social Security Administration. When asked Gov. Nixon denied this but was later confirmed by the Head of the State Highway Patrol.

I watched the interview of Gov. Nixon on TV when he was asked the question. He acted just like he had been caught with his hand in the cookie jar. Hem-hawing, sputtering, figgeting, nervous jerks. If there was EVER a classic example of a LIE.....

Now to be realistic......If you have ever been through a background check to purchase a firearm....YOU ARE ON A FEDERAL LIST!! They have your name, address, type of firearm, how many. I don't care if you have done it only once and own 100 that were not procured through the system...THEY KNOW YOU ARE A GUN OWNER. The fact that they now know you carry your weapon concealed (legally) is of little importance.

Not surprised at all.
Multiple means for the Feds to obtaining the information about gun owners. I would think that the simple act of purchasing a hunting license would flag you as a gun owner. Even social media sights (forums, facebook, e-mails) are all a source of information. And yes, they are being watched.
So much about all of this that I don't understand.
Why is it that elected officials can break the law and not be held accountable?
Many more questions than there are answers.

I can see that some folks feel violated by things like this but truth be told if you have a social security number there`s not much they don`t know or can`t find out. I`m sure there`s a government computer geek that could log onto this forum and get every members info which I`m sure they have (Do I care) NO !! Being prior military they have my prints, DNA, and hat size anyway. What troubles me is the commander in Chiefs records are sealed from the public...Rather ironic I say !!!

Announced today by the Gov. The head of the Missouri Dept. of Revenue has resigned. Its being pushed by State law makers (Republicans) that proccacusion take place since a State Law was broken in the release of the information. The Head of the Highway Patrol has taken ultimate responsibility for the release. He is a Govenor appointed official also.

One wing-nut got on the news and said he was having second thoughts about applying for a CCW. Afraid the Gov. would find out he had a pistol...LOL

The guy that resigned wasn't even in that position when the goons betrayed the citizens of MO. Must have been a whole lot of heat for him to quit since it wasn't his baby...just babysitting the mess left to him. WRONG WAY JAY should be FIRED, CANNED and LOCKED UP along with every last one of the people involved. And Blaine. Lutkenmeyer (sp?) needs his mouth washed with LIE soap. Sonofa XXX covered for the story. Once again...don't get me started!

I carry, it's on my side now as I type and the last thing to come off before my clothes each day and the first thing on once my britches are on. EVERYONE that knows me...know I'm L&L for the "what ifs" in life. Never want to but dang sure ready IF...

As for the "WINGNUT", that's what I want to do...admit to the world on TV that I'm a scared, weak and UNARMED VICTIM waiting to be Victimized! Whew
