Just wondering if anyone else here owns a Model 80C bolt action rimfire like mine...

Thats a nice little 22 you got there. not to get off topic my bolt 22 is a savage 93,its the only lefty bolt I could find..
shooter, that looks very similar to the one my father bought for me many years ago. i don't remember the model number of it, but i do remember it was a glenfield marlin. i got it in 1975 or 1976 for christmas. he also got us an H-R single shot 20ga shotgun. that was one of the best christmas' my brother and i ever had!

brass, i have one of those savage m93 in 17hmr, the m93r17 with the heavy target barrel and synthetic stock. i have had mine for about 7-8 years now. reminds me, i need to get it out and shoot it!

Shooter13,
I have a J C Higgins rifle sold by Sears that I think is the same as a Marlin 80C. I picked it up recently at a pawn shop. It is in wonderful shape for a rifle that I think is about 55 years old. I believe mine is from the middle 50's because it has Micro Groove rifling, making it after 1953, and it has a 24 inch barrel, which I believe was changed to 22 inches about 1958. At least I hope this is correct. If anyone has any other way of nailing down the date of manufacture, I would appreciate it.

I have a Model 980, 22 Magnum. It looks similar to the model 80 except I have a 16" barrel. I would like to upgrade to the Accutrigger. Anyone know if it's possible? This rifle is real accurate with a 3x9x40 scope.
Looking in the Numrich catalog, I see the model 80 has 22" & 24" barrels available.
