    My 1894c 357Magnum/38Special; and my 782 22Magnum.
Just recently bought the 1894 (jm N.Haven) and have had the
    782 for about 35 years.

Very nice range! I wish I was on more property so I could do that too.

Welcome Wingnut. Nice brace of Marlins. It's good to have a spot where you can walk out the back door and wring out your levers a little without a lot of effort. Enjoy!

    Welcome to the forum Wingnut.
I too am envious of the range in the back yard, along with the 1894. Given the chance, at the right price, I'm going to own one of those 357 lever guns. Don't know why. I just want one. :))

I love that 94C. I just bought one myself. It was way easy to slick up the action.

There's been a 94C at our house for quite a while. We did the slicking up the old fashioned way. Put a couple thousand rounds through it but it was pretty slick out of the box. It is the most popular lever in our cabinet. Hard to beat.

Thanks for the comments. I bought my 1894c, 357,used, at a pawn shop.
It looked so near new I had to ask if it was new or used. It is one of the
later models but is a jm. It cycled 357magnum perfect but wasn't fond
of the 38 special. I did a little smoothing on the carrier and it does OK
now. I want it mostly for 357 anyway. I re-load so I can load down if I
want a lighter round for plinking.
A little later I bought a Stainless Steel Rossi 92 in 357Magnum and it loves the 38 special but is a little slow on the 357. So i guess I have a
    pretty good pair.

I haven't even tried 38 yet. Like you I load down 357. I shoot mostly wheel weight lead and want to keep the chamber from fouling so it cleans easier.
