So recently I bought a Henry Big Boy .357/.38 and I was looking for a pistol to match. It's pretty hard to find a pistol with an octagonal barrel, let alone one with brass on it. But I found a Uberti 1858 Remington conversion, in .38spl, which started a theme. 1858 model gun, I was actually born in 1958, and I turned 58, so I decided to go shoot 58 times! Not terrible shooting offhand with a 3 pound gun, at about 30'.

Congratulations!!!!!!!
I really like that revolver. Pretty classic.
Didn't Know that they made a "conversion" model of the Ole Cap & Ball Revolvers.

It's nice to have someone give us things we really want. Awesome gun and it sure does what you want it to do.
I had a Uberti Cattleman 38/357 and it sure had a hair trigger. You better be pointing at the target if your finger is in the guard.
