Help needed
Finally got around to shooting my little XT tube feed Stainless Rimfire, and after 5 rounds it has jammed up.
On inspection I found the end of what looks like a spring, in the way of the bolt,, and jamming between the bolt and the bullet cradle.
An assembly issue, I thought, so its into the "shed" and pull it apart, with no bloody idea of what I am doing, but I know I have to look for a reason, and try to be a gunsmith.:rolleyes:

"Bugger me "!, if I can work it out properly.
I have no schematics, and can't really find a detailed drawing of the cradle and spring assembly, on the net.
I have got it together, but in my opinion its too firm, with the end of the spring wrapped under the action, and is the cradle in the right way ?

Can someone send me some photos of the correct assembly ?

Cheers

More issues now
After 3 hrs in the shed I got it apart, and out back together, but now it will not eject

It now appears that the shells sit too high in the bolt face, and the ejector piece, on the transfer cradle, does not catch the empty shell.

Any ideas, or have I buggered something up ?

How the spring hooks up, the loading cradle, and also one of the spring.
I am of the opinion that this little rifle, was a"monday" rifle
Also the setup of the ejector,

Its like something is missing, and I just want it right
That would be awesone

Many thanks for the fotos

Here's what I have
Note the broken spring ?

Any wonder
I have nothing, to eject the spent case

Is that bit poking out on the left side of the bolt face the ejector, and where it should be ?

So if the spring is stuffed, where do I get another from. ???and a foto of the spring attached to the loading cradle would be muchly appreciated

Cheers

The spring rides on top of the loading cradle and below the bolt. The bolt has a slot on the bottom that the spring rides in. When your ejecting the empty shell the spring helps throw the shell out.

I am at present trying to source a couple of ejector springs.
Midway USA and Numrich have been sent emails, as well as Cleaver Firearms, in Oz
Wish me luck
