Hi everyone,

I'm a novice shooter from Sunbury Victoria, that doesn't hunt all that much, mainly cause I care for my dad with my mum.

I have a Marlin XT-22 with a Vortex 3-9x40 scope, great rifle so comfortable in the hands.

I'm here as I want to learn more about my rifle, how to clean and maintain it and if anyone knows a step by step video of how to strip it.

Thanks Straightshooter, I've got the synthetic stock so hopefully it's the same process.

What oils and lubricants do you use? Is there a certain brand that you have to use or is it just personal preference?
