New member, New Marlin 60 Owner

I just bought 2 days ago a used Marlin 60 with Bushnell 3x-9x Sportsview Scope. Based on what research I've done on the gun, and the serial number, it was manufactured in 1988. It has the 22" barrel with 18 round count tubular magazine. It is in really good condition other then just a few marks on the stock, but for its age it looks really clean. I paid $210 for it and that was with 200 rounds of Federal Champion ammo.

I love pictures too, they're just as good as just starring at the gun all day long, LOL. I'm itching to get out to the range now and put the rifle to good use. After all while I may not be new to guns, I am new to rifles, and this is my first.

Welcome to the forum. In my opinion the stocks on the older model 60's look better than the newer ones.
