Hello and thank you for allowing me to join! I primarily joined in order to sell a rifle, but am also interested in older Marlins. My dream rifles put me in the esoteric and not necessarily obtainable category. I wish Marlin would make something that was essentially a Cowboy model, but with a pistol grip. Until recently, I was involved in lever gun silhouette where all of my rifles had 24 inch barrels and vernier tang sights. I am also heavily involved with single shot falling block rifles, which is probably what is influencing my tastes. The one Marlin I own that I will probably never part with is the 1894 Cowboy in the attached picture, which was converted to a pistol grip and had some hand-selected factory wood put on it. It is easily one of the most enjoyable rifles that I shoot. Looking forward to participation on this forum and anxiously await to see what direction Ruger takes with all of the Marlin lever models. Hope we see good things.
