I am in the process of building a hog/coyote night hunting gun. I decided on 30-30 because of inexpensive plentiful ammo and the fact that with lights I should never have to shoot past 100 yards. I traded for a pre-safety RC with Ram Line synthetic stocks so it is very light weight before adding accessories. I have a Bushnell 3X9X40 with lighted reticle and I bought a Maglite XL50 LED light from Wally for $24. As you can tell I'm doing this on a very limited budget. I ordered a light mount off ebay and when it arrives I will post pics of my current progress. My next endeavor will be to acquire a quality call system at the most reasonable price. Any advice will be appreciated. Fom

A coyote is a lot like a crow, they are a nuiscance and pest, but very intelligent. When I dont have a gun I see them sometimes but, like a crow, they recognize a gun and make themselves scarce unless you are very well camoflauged. I can walk around my place with a stick and crows will be all over, but get a gun and they are no where to be seen. Fom
