Amazing how fast you can blow away 100 rds of ammo even with a revolver. Then when you get three or four shooting eats them up fast. Relading on my single stage AINT GONNA GET IT.

Been checking out the Lee 1000 ( $174) and the Lee Load Master ( $244) progressive presses. Each comes with one set of dies (carbide). If I get a set of carbide dies only its around $60 anyway. Difference is the 1000 is a 3 hole station (comes with a 3 die set), and the Load Master is 5 (comes with a 4 die set). With the cost of cheap .38s at $18-19 for 50 vice under $7 to reload good ones either one will pay for itself pretty quick. With the addition of another die plate and dies either one can load multiple calibers including rifle. Each does everything except feed the bullet....and that option is $24...There is ALWAYS options..Mounting plates, Bullet trays....Finished cartridge trays...Blast shields for the primer function....Final cost for EVERYTHING....A GAZILLION $$

Reading the reviews....It's either HATE or LOVE....:p But like all things mechanical....some say bad things about a rock....dont work...dont get one, stay with a stick....:) Or pay triple the price...and the reviews about them are the same....LOL

Guys
Have to check out some things that my .222 is not doing, like hitting foxes, and bunnies, that it normally destroys.
Dropping it, may well have stuffed the scope.
Kind of explains why it takes a while to get it to shoot good, and then next time I go out I cant hit anything, on dead easy shots.
I originally got a Leupold, as I thought they were tough

Testing first, to make sure the problen is not between the trigger and the ground. ( me of course )
Looking at everything else, in the process too.

Maybe a another Zeiss coming up.
Oh the $$$$$$$$$$

Keep fingers crossed.

.444 Marlin.........Spot on
.270 Remington 700 CDL ....Spot on.
6.5*55 Sweed......................Spot on.

Of course I have to play, and try new projectiles, as well

Why ?
Because I can !

Have had both problems with scopes. The latest one was me.....lol

A few years back had a Redfield....had been spot on for years and years. In one shot it just WENT AWAY. Wouldnt hold within 8" for two shots in a row. they were EVERYWHERE !!!

If its the scope.....
Just a suggestion...for quality and durability, and about the same price point as a Zeiss take a look at NIGHTFORCE. Here is a link to Optics Plantet and you can find more.

Cheers guys
I know that sometimes we all have bad days ect. and I am no exception.
But both Danny and myself were missing easy 200 yd shots.
Mind you we did get a "skippy" and 2 bunnies, but most things escaped us.

My supervisor at work, is also a shooting buddy of mine, and he got 20 of my rounds to try out, as well.
So I am trying to cover all angles.

ps .... wosh I could spell properly sometimes too

hehehehe

At 100 mts ( 110 yds ) both my .222 and .270 are shooting just fine.

The .222 problem was between the trigget and the ground, (yes me !)

Gotta love those Caldwell lead sleds, for sorting out things.

:p
Glad ya dont have to fork over for more optics Bucky. Now we both just have to figure out how to pack our benches and rests around hunting.....:D

I will see Saturday when Buck opens back up for another 9 days with Black Powder and Center Fire Pistol. I figure if they get close enough for the pistol I can smack em in the head with it.....

FOUR4D4...I heard this exact quote on an episode of "Alias". Then I saw it again here...thought it sounded familiar.:)

Strike anywhere matches are great. When I was a kid we used to blow them through straws. If we hit something solid they would spark and light.
