The First Team Challenge involves a pair of shooters from each team shooting a

Tonight's episode #6

So...what did everyone think about tonights episode #6...?!

The challenges...

The weapons used...

The winning and losing competitors...
I caught it for the 1st time tonight (early am).... It was fun!.. I'd love to fire that cannon :D The atlatl segment was interesting.
As far as the 2 in the elimination..... I think they both should have left LOL.

The hunter had a big chip on his shoulder and the winner seemed to think a bit too highly of himself. I'll check it out the next time though, it's good to see a lot of interest in the show.
Yea...I agree ! Tim did think too highly of himself...and would still be on the show and in for the big prize, but his ego got in his way. The other guy, Chris, has been surprisingly lucky...but my $$ is on Gabby...I think she has what it takes to win.

Premier Date: 3/27/2012
_____________________________________________________________

Contestants take aim at bowling pins, bottle openers and other specialty
targets in an episode full of dazzling trick shots. One team's quarreling over
strategy translates to a poor performance at the team challenge. And after
a controversial nomination range, two shooters must go head to head to
avoid elimination.

______________________________________________________________

The First Team Challenge involves each shooter competing at one of 5 stations:

1. From 30 feet, fire the M1911 to drive a bowling pin backward through two others without knocking them down.

2. Shoot a bowling pin with the 1911 from 30 feet so that it travels diagonally back to knock over one of two others.

3. From 75 feet, fire the Volquartsen and hit a bottle opener so that it pops the cap off a soda bottle.

4. Hit the bottom bucket in a stack of two with the M1911 from 30 feet, knocking the top one into the air,
then hit the top one before it reaches the ground.

5. Shoot at 4 gumballs from 35 feet with the Volquartsen, trying to knock them cleanly off their golf tees.

3 attempts at each of the first 4 stations; 1 point per successful shot.

WINNER: RED Team

"The Mad Minute"

Premier Date: 4/03/2012
___________________________________________________________

Top Shot Season One winner Iain Harrison returns to school the competitors
in British weaponry. The team challenge introduces a surprising
twist, and one team bands together to conquer the task.
For the losing team, it's off to the elimination round where
two shooters compete in a high-stress precision challenge.

The "mad minute" originated as a pre-World War I term used by British riflemen
during training to describe scoring 15 hits onto a 12" round
target at 300 yd within one minute using a bolt-action rifle.
The term still exists in modern military parlance to describe
any short period of intense weapons fire.

_____________________________________________________________

The First Team Challenge involves shooting at separate moving grids of
30 targets from 35 feet. One player at a time per team,
6 shots per player. First team to hit all targets wins.

WINNER: RED Team

The Nomination picks for the Elimination challenge from the BLUE Team are: Terry & Greg

and George Reinas return and get in on the action.

The teams were dissolved in this episode. All players received green shirts
and began to compete against each other for the rest of the season. After
the individual challenge, all players voted for one of the players who had not
won immunity. The top two vote-getters then competed in an elimination
challenge as in previous episodes.

_____________________________________________________________

"Swat Throwdown"

Premier Date: 4/17/2012

And, in an extreme elimination showdown, competitors race the clock as they breach doors
with the Mossberg 500 Chainsaw Shotgun to take out targets with the FN FS2000 assault rifle.

________________________________________________________

The First Individual Challenge involves rappeling down a 3-story, 30-foot tower is used,
with a pair of windows at each story. Starting at the top, climb down a rope to each
story, then shoot at 3 targets per window. Target size and distance decrease with
each lower story (70, 50, 30 feet). Shooter must unload and holster the Five-Seven
after finishing each window. The three fastest times to hit all targets are safe from elimination.
