Does anyone know if an old Glenfield stock with the squirrel will fit a newer Marlin Model 60 from the Remington Era?

I don't know. However, I have read that the Model 60 synthetic stocks from Midway fit right on the old Marlin model 60, but the Model 60 synthetic stocks sold on Amazon are made by Remington and require minor fitting to work on the older rifles.

If that is true, it stands to reason some minor fitting may be required, but it should be fairly simple on a wood stock.

I have plenty of the old stocks but no Remington made 60 to check it out with.
