I have the xt-17vr, not the vlb, but I can tell you it is a great gun. I can also highly recommend the BSA Sweet 17 to go on top..great combo. Although I got this gun for my son, I shoot it all the time! We hold 1" groups at 100yds easily and consistently shoot at slightly larger than quarter size spinners out to 200yds, which then gets a little touchy with windage. I haven't been past that range, but look forward to going out further for fun eventually. Everyone at the range we let squeeze off a few rounds with it makes the comment that they will be looking at getting one for themselves. The only quirk I have with the gun is the mag guide. It is a crude rail that binds frequently on mag inserts and requires attention.
