I was in the shop today and spied a newcomer there. They have it listed as a 30 TK ? I'm thinking, nice looking little 30-30 but probably kicks like a mule. It has a Tasco on her on top of long weaver type rail. The serial # starts with 11xxxx. The stock was nice but had the Glenfield look.

Anyway, in the book it has the M30/30a and references to the 336 models. What do you think ?

That's the straight stock model sold by Kmart back in the day with hardwood stocks. Its basically a Glenfield with a straight stock. Its a 30-30--they don't kick like a mule. I have a 336T which has the walnut straight stock and brass saddle ring also known as the Texan model.

I would say try and talk them down and look for simular rifles on gunbroker to see what they go for. JMHO
