I pulled the scope off my Marlin 375 and put a Williams peep sight on it. I had to change out the front sight also,
because the stock front sight was too short (9" high @ 100yds).
That's a 10 shot 4" group @ 100 yards with 220 grn Hornady RNFP @ 2200fps.
I think that I like peep sights.

That's darn good shooting with a peep sight. Some days I can't beat that with a scope. :eek: :D

Thanks Hyphenated, that carbine is a shooter! It prints 2" to 2-1/2" @ 100 with a scope. I hunt some pretty thick woods in western Washington
and I just wanted a more traditional "Brush Gun". I also have a Savage model 99 in .300 Savage for the longer stuff.

Yeah I think I saw that picture in another thread, both fine looking rifles. I really like the European schnabel forearm.

That's pretty much what my .375 will do (2" to 2.5") maybe better with someone else behind the wheel.
