Another day to Praise the Lord. After my release from the hospital last Friday, I had a f/u meeting with my family doctor yesterday (5/12/15). His opinion is that I have been having a series of TIAs (mini-strokes) for the past couple weeks. Over-all they have been progressively getting more severe. Monday morning at about 4:00 in the morning was the worst by far. It caused temporary partial paralysis of the left side for about 20 minutes. (very concerning). Good news is, we caught it before it became a full blown stroke and it can be controlled with medication. Now we need to confirm that the type and dosage of meds. is correct. Scheduled for a MRI/MRA on 5/20. God's grace is truly amazing. To Him be the glory. Just thought family & friends would like to know.
I hear that getting old isn't for sissies.

Thanks for all the prayers and concerns. Greatly appreciated.
The meds must be working. It's been over 2 weeks without any more symptoms. During that time I was at the doctors again for the followup on the MRI/MRA and the Eco Cardiogram. All test, so far, have come back normal. That's good I guess except we haven't been able to determine a root cause.
Must be Old Timers Disease.
I'm scheduled for a Colonoscopy and a Prostate Exam. (Oh Joy ) Not sure how that is related except as a possible source for blood clots????
It's all in the Lords hands. I'm just along for the ride.
Take care friends. I'll be around for awhile longer just to bug you guys.
