Thanks everybody for your prayers. My dad (George) is doing much better - spirits up but a nagging post-operative cough. Mom (Shirley) is doing better but this whole thing has really brought to our attention her onset of dementia. Tough to see our parents age but it comes to us all and being people of faith we know that no matter how hard those later miles are, the reward is worth the trip.

Way to be there for him Shooter. Hopefully he will be around for many more years but it is comforting to know you are sure of his place after here and the Lord will take care of the rest. Best of luck there and prayers will continue for the strength of you and your family to handle what ever comes your way. God Bless.
