Good Morning folks
This is my first thread on here. I recently purchased an old Marlin model 55 goose gun. Clearly stamped on the receiver. My problem is that the barrel length is 24 inches with a poly choke. I looked in my blue book of gun values and it is not listed. Am I to assume that someone has replaced the barrel ?? The barrel is marked as a model 55 and the receiver is marked as a Marlin model 55 goose gun with a 3 inch magnum chamber. Any insight would be greatly appreciated.
