It's always nice when the pretty ones shoot...man, that doesn't sound right. Congratulations Axxe, good looking and a shooter, that's what it's all about.

thanks guys. in the next few months i will tweak her a bit with a new sight and an extended slide release lever. okay, here's a question, i really like the grips on it, but what grips would any of you suggest that would look good with the finish it has?

Here are a couple of my Remmy Shotguns set up for home defense. I have 4 Remmington Shotguns(1100 12 Ga, 870 12 ga, 1187 12 ga, and a 870 20 ga) but here are two that I have pics of! 18.5 " barrel on the 1100 and a 20" barrel on the 870! Sidesaddle shell holder on the 870. Need to order one for the 1100.

I like Remingtons. I've owned several . My son fancies himself as a Remington collector so the last few have gone to him. The idea was to will them to him at an early age so that we could enjoy them together. I'm not sure that I can remember them all but a few included a Model 7 in 223, a 11-87 Sporting Clays 12 ga. and a 1100 Special Field 20 ga. with an extra slug barrel.
One of the best shooters was the early model 760 in 30-06. It had the 9 locking lugs on the bolt and an acorn end cap on the magazine. The only dislikes that I had was the super heavy trigger pull (same trigger as the 870), the fact that the uncovered magazine didn't rest well on my arm while walking in the woods. and it had a steel butt plate that made the felt recoil a bit strong for anything other than hunting. On the positive side, it was very accurate and if I opened the slide and then closed it, then sat it in a corner, I could hit the release and it would open 3/4 of the way by itself. Very smooth action.
