Just wanted to pass along a photo of one of my newest projects. Just got done refinishing this Revelation model 115 .22 made by Marlin (57). It's very tight and a great shooter.

Awesome................
Very impressive, indeed.
Thanks for sharing.
Gotta love them levers.
Great looking rifle. Thanks
Sweet looking rifle. What did you finish the stock with?
First used a B&D Mouse sander taking it down to bare wood. Then used Minwax Stain. Dried 24 hours then used Minwax Semi-Gloss Poly Urethane Spray. Spraying every 15 minutes for about 6-9 coats.
There's one of these at the pawn store. What price range are these really bringing in?
I want it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Very nice.

I'd say $100- $200 if it's complete & decent. I think the ones that are 100% are in the $300 range. I doubt if I'll get rid of this one? At least not planning on it!
I saw one sell not just asking but it sold for $625. American dollars, I couldn't believe it! This was yesterday, 2/17/13 !

I just checked the sold listing make that $655.!!!
if it's worth that, then it might be for sale after all!
I cant see spending that much for a USED 22lr
I grew up with a Western Auto Revelation 120. Fun gun. Still have it (nearly 40 years later). I enjoy it very much. I enjoy the last round open feature on my son's 795 though. :)
That`s a very nice rifle..No offense but it looks like a ruger.I thought the only lever marlin made was the 39...shows how much I know !!
Troy from swamp people has used that gun on the show
I have a Model 57 "J.C. Higgins" .22 Magnum made by Marlin sold by Sears. My pop gave it to me on my 12th birthday. That was 55 years ago. He paid $22.95 for it. I passed it on to my son who passsed on to his daughter. It's a little beat up but still drives tacks and shoots like a dream.
