Your focus should be on strengthening mental health care and improving the quality of data supporting NICs checks (National Instant Criminal Background Check System). Do NOT pass more gun laws; instead, work to enforce the more than 20,000 gun laws already on the books.

Sounds like Obama is doing the same knee jerk reaction that "Jack Boot Johnny" (our then Prime Minister) done over here, after Port Arthur massacre.
All that done here was eliminate "semi auto's", and allow responsible gun owners buy more bolt, lever, and pump action rifles.
Mind you the "do-gooders", will tell you different.
But the truth be known, it does not stop "nuffy's" from getting their hands on guns anyway, as was Martyn Bryant.

Yea Bucky...we seen this type of thing happen before...and we lived under

an AWB ( Assault Weapons Ban ) for ten long years...which did nothing to stop the

loonies. We don't need more laws, or our government telling us what is best for us...

we need better screening by health professionals to spot nut jobs before they become mass killers,

which means recognizing the warning signs...and reporting it, instead of turning a blind eye because they "don't want to be involved"...

as well as stricter enforcement of the thousands of gun laws on the books already...

More Gun Laws are NOT the answer...!! All they do is disarm the victims...

The Constitution is man's law. God's Law require much more of us. II hope you understand what I am saying. To voice my opinion here is one thing...notice I said my opinion. But to declare I will rebel against the government as was implied I should do in a reply to one of my previous posts by another forum member is what I consider to be dangerous and stupid. Anyone who plays poker or who has been in service knows that those who boast and act and speak all puffed up will be likely targets and make us law abiding citizens look really bad.

Who was it, Teddy R, who said, "Walk softly and carry a big stick?"...Not, a big schtick.
