How about Riton mounts, lightweight, 4 screws for each cap, and not too expensive. Works fine with the $10 weaver bases you can get at Walmart. That what I used for my 30-30 scope rig with a Vortex Ranger (remake of gen 1 Viper PST). Don't forget to use Blue lok-tight on the screws for a solid mount.
