As much as Remington has gotten bad comments the last couple of years the 700 receiver is still TOPS. And its a lefty. All kinds of 700 stocks in real wood around. IF I ran up on a 700 in that range I would ....... 
should I or shouldn`t I ?
The toy store has a used prestine remington 700 30-06 lefty for $400. New is $650ish+_ a few bucks It`s an sps with synthetic stock.....pondering real hard as I`m a sucker for lefties,It`s had less than a box of shells thru it .....AND to remind y`all marlin still doesn`t make a lefty bolt gun dangit or I`d have one

I have shot and owned a variety of 700, they are a great piece. With reloads all from a 17 to a 8mm mag were all 1 or yes MOAs. My first was my grandfathers 721, which is on hold, using a newer matte 700 for the woods.
