Speer bullet warning on lee dies

Lookin at the little cheat sheets that come with LEE die sets there`s a warning at the bottom that sais Speer doesn`t reccomend LEE dies...I snooped a bit and RCBS owns speer or vice-versa probley a marketing squabble..Just shootin the campfire bull here but has anyone had a problem loading speer with LEE dies ?

First time I have seen that...or at least if I saw it I ignored it. Which dies is not specified but the notice is that Speer bullets should not be used in certain Lee dies.

As you mentioned, probably just Speer's way of making Lee seem bad. OK by me. I will just not use Speer bullets.
Thanks Hal444. Good explanation. Makes sense. Speer doesn't want to get the blame perchance someone does crimp one of their un cannelured bullets and gets a bad result. I crimp them all the time. Especially the blems that have no cannelure, or have them pressed out of their proper place, thus making them blems. No big to me but Speer has to CIA.

I wonder if it is ok to press your own cannelure and then use a Lee die.
