The BIL and I went to the Orlando gun show Saturday, had a great time as always. Over the last couple of years I've bought about half of my guns at the gun show and the rest have been split between Gun Broker, MarlinOwners and local pushers.

This weekend wasn't a gun purchase but I have so much fun looking and scouting out deals. I picked up some powder, tumbling media, a cape buffalo (leather shot shell) belt case and on the way home at Bass Pro an upland game vest.

I did see some beautiful older Marlins however didn't have that much cash and I'm really focused on specific Guide Guns anyway. I like the ported models built between 1998 & 2003.

I grew up going to gun shows. My grandparents always ran a booth and had a full time store so I got a lot of great exposure as a child.

When they figured out I was a lefty they started collecting holsters and some such made for lefties.

Of course now they can't be found but as a child all my play guns were carried on my left side and I never had to cross draw when were playing.
