Spring in your Area?

Spring has come early to Texas and the blue bonnets are already blossoming.

Anyone else seeing spring around their area? This is one of the best times of the year for me. I look forward to getting back outside. The winter keeps me couped up and I can go a little batty.

85 degrees not much of a spring down in Florida.I did see about a dozen robins in the yard.I hope they listen to me, I pointed them north where they sure could use some kind of sign of spring.
We've had a Robin hang'n around for a week or so now.
The winter has been very mild. Only ran the snow blower 1 time. Had some snow flurries yesterday. Not enough to accumulate. The forecast is for 60 and sunny tomorrow. One thing about Ohio. If you don't like the weather, wait a few hours and it's sure to change. :))
Very similar here in Pa....... currently about 30, flurries yesterday and today..... windy...... and hopefullyl 55ish by Wednesday, I need range time!
:)
It has sprung. Austin, hopefully we have a mild summer with some moisture man.

If it looks like it will get as hot as last year, I'm moving to Maine!
redbud trees are starting to bloom here in East Texas, already have wild onions blooming too. if spring isn't here yet, it's not far off! then again so is summer.

I'm hoping so. It seems it won't be if this is the trend though.

I hate the smell of wild onions being mowed. I like onions but that's a little much.
Daffodils are on the verge of blooming in the yard, robins everywhere, the geese are leaving, skunks are out and the woodchucks are starting to appear in the fields -must be Spring!
The skunks here have been making their way out too.

It's been shocking to see so many of them.
We're just starting to see a few buds on trees around here... maybe a crocus or two and the geese have been on the wing in formation. Spring is a great time of year when things start "living" again!
Things here are looking a lot like spring. With temps in the mid 60s, I fired up the motorcycle, tossed the Savage 1907 in the trunk and went to the range (about 45 miles round trip). It was pretty windy but all in all, a very nice day.
The pistol functioned well, although it's not a target pistol, it held a reasonable group at 25'. :))
I fed all my skunks the best dark chocolate money can buy. I have no more skunks, opossums, *****, stray dogs, or coyotes...all dead.

I'm guessing rat poison.
Nope. Our spring normally doesn't start till the end of June.:(
Texas wild flowers are out in full force now.

Seems Blue Bonnets are everywhere.

It's actually pretty great.
well it has been in the upper 70's all this week and in the high 50's for the lows. i think the official start of spring is next week. trees are getting their leaves and the flowers are starting to bloom. grass is starting to grow pretty good, guess i need to get my riding mower ready and start mowing before the grass gets much taller.
We've had a couple of days this week that reached 80 and that's way to early for this time of the year. Nights have been chilly and everything is up and starting to bloom or bud. Our area received an unwanted gift from China about 3 years ago - Stink Bugs and they are now out with a vengence. They have no native predators to control the population and with this warm weather, they're everywhere and they do stink when you crush them.
I got attacked by one of those horrible things not long ago.

It was pretty stinky. Like a rotten cheese.
