I've come across about a thousand green tip 5.56 bullets (for free ) I've found no published data for loading these so I'm somewhat skeptikal..would like to use them for plinkers, but not at 5.56 velocity..anybody here ever load'em?

Why not weigh the bullets and find a load for them. Either that or load with trail boss up to the base of the bullet. Do not compress the powder. Those will be plinkers.

Thanx hombre ,these bullets are long..real long like a 69gr...Grumpy as long as they go bang at the right end of the gun..
