I'll confess, I've been lurking for some time. I've never been terribly good at posting, I think between all the forums I frequent I may have 300 posts.
This place seems to contain a wealth of information, and more importantly, experience. My own is very limited, growing up on a small island and having spent some time in california. I did live in Montana for a short while, and I'm slowly realizing the error I commited when I left.
Fortunately, I think I've shot little enough that I've developed few bad habits. Some handgun experience, enough to let me know I need to get out and shoot more. Same with long guns, .243, 7mm rem mag, and my standby in case the world ends, an m44 mosin nagant, complete with a crate of surplus ammunition.
Hopefully I'll come up with something to contribute eventually, until then I'll continue to absorb and appreciate what is already here. That, and curse you all for fueling my drive to spend money, not that I needed any more help.
