I actually have a few questions:

    1. I shoot almost exclusively with a 2 point GI sling - I'm assuming attachment points would be on the rail in front and any other standard AR style for the rear, correct?

    2. Have you installed DIP trigger guard in the stock? Any issues?

    3. Could you post a picture of the Model 70/795 detachable magazine well area? It appears there may be some more "thickness" there and the shooter would need to reach up into the well to release the magazine.

    4. I watched the videos, but don't remember if I heard correctly, the but the adjustable stock can be shortened to 1 5/8" less than the factory stock. Correct?

Do you offer pickup? I grew up in the Rochester area, my parents and sister still live there and my daughter will be visiting Keuka College in the next 2 months.

    Thanks - Matt

Thanks for posting and great questions. I'll attempt to answer them the best that I can in order.

    1. Yes you can mount any rail sling attachment on end. We sell several options on HuntingTactical.com. I have also seen customers not install the rails and put a sling stud in the mounting holes instead.

For the rear there are also several options. The butt stock does not come with any mount. You can use the standard AR style mount as the slot and screw hole are there. You can also use any AR buffertube style mount. It does not have the hole for the Qd style mount but because it is a standard telescoping tube you can change it to a butt stock that does.

    2. We have not actually installed any of the DIP trigger guards ourselves but as long as they meet the factory measurements there should not be any issues.

    3. Our 795 here is still packed up from the Rochester Gun Show this past weekend but I will get it unpacked and post a picture for you. I have not had nor heard of anyone having issues with the reach of the magazine release. You are correct that there is a bit of "lip" there but it has never interfered with its accessibility. Attached is a screenshot of the cad file in the meantime.

    4. Yes assuming you do not have a folding stock adapter or anything else mounted there it is designed to go 1 5/8" shorter and longer than the factory stock.

We can arrange for local pickup that is fine. But we also offer free shipping on them if you order through HuntingTactical.com

If I have not completely answered your questions or you have more questions please let me know.

Your last picture shows the mag release perfectly - and it appears to be no real change as far as accessibility goes - thank you!
