Does anyone here know anything about this pistol? I am thinking about getting one. Taurus PT845 looks good, and the only unbiased (hopefully) review I found says it is a good gun for the money...which for me is in somewhat short supply.

Another one I like is a Sig Sauer 250F45B P250 Nitron 45 ACP 4.7" 10+1 Interchangeable...

The SIG boasts several caliber and size combinations. It's modular design allows several different configurations in 4 calibers. I like an exposed hammer and a manual safety. The SIG does not have them but the Taurus does.

I am leaning more toward the Taurus. Maybe will think about the SIG at a later date.

ever give up...

Gave up on Taurus.......had one many years ago and it was great... bought a .357 a year ago and with the Mrs. having problems I wasn't able to send it in to get fixed.....seems like the timing isn't right (revolver).
I have not given up on the PT 845. I just have it simmering on the back burner for a while.

I am enjoying my PT111 immensely. And I reckon that is because I can shoot tight groups at 7-10 yards. Well within the center mass area of a coyote...2 and/or 4 legged.
