i of course grew up hearing Ted Nugent's music, but i was never a Ted Nugent fan because of his music. i am a Ted Nugent fan, because of his stance on gun control laws and his stance on the 2nd admendment. i respect how is very vocal and passionate about his position on these subjects and not afraid to speak his mind and say exactly what he thinks. he doesn't pull any punches, period. his veiwpoints on these subjects mirror mine very closely and these subjects are very important to me. this is why i joined the NRA and i support those who defend my right to own and bear arms.

As I read this post it really hit a nerve. Just the thought that we have to belong to an organization to defend our Constitutional rights is disturbing. The DOJ and the Supreme Court should support "all" our rights without us having to pay someone to defend the Constitution.

Imagine if we needed a group to defend the 1st Amend in the same fashion. Another term for Barrack Obama and that may be the case.

If we lose the 2nd we lose the 1st:mad:
so very true Four! as along with all the rest of our Constitutional rights. the 2nd admendment was put into place by our founding fathers, to allow us the the people to have control of the government, not the government to have contol over us. i applaude their foresight and to put into place an set of checks and balances to gaurantee our rights and freedoms.

i have been asked before, about our other rights and are they not just as important as the rights of the 2nd admendment? yes they are equally important, but without the 2nd admendment, those other rights and freedoms could very well vanish at the whim of some dictator. so i support and defend the 2nd admendment to preserve and protect all our Constitutional rights and freedoms.

Ted Nugent is a person we need in this fight for our freedoms and rights. he is vocal and passionate about gun rights and the 2nd admendment. i admire his courage to take the stance he does and is not afraid to speak his mind and call out those who oppose an individuals gun rights. he stands up for what he believes in and that is a mark of character. he is also a big supporter of the NRA, which i am a member of and as is my father who spoke to me often over the years to join and become a member. i urge all my fellow members to join the NRA or any other organization that supports or is defending the rights of gun owners and the 2nd admendment.

When he first started getting radio time I didn't think much of his music. My first lasting memory was the Kansas City news reports some nut ball had chucked a ball bearing at Ted and hit him in the mouth while on stage in KC. Me and my group of friends were ashamed of our town being known for that. A few years later his music began to grow on me as my tastes moved more towards hard rock. Like many others I admire him for his attitude towards life and traditional American values.

Duster, i can honestly say i was never a big fan of Ted Nugent's music when i was younger and honestly haven't listened to him currently either. but i am a big fan of Ted Nugent the 2nd admendment and gun rights supporter! i have seen a few of his hunting shows and have heard him speak from time to time about gun rights. i think he would be a cool guy to hang out with and talk guns with!
