well yesterday the wife and i went to Plantersville Texas for the 38th Annual Texas Renaissance Festival. we had a really good time and took lots of pictures. lots of good shows and lots of handmade items for sale by the vendors. lots of walking so my legs and knees were very sore by the time we got home last night! but still enjoyed the day with my wife and going to the festival again.

Looks like great fun. Thanks for sharing. Did you take a ride on the Pachyderm???
In the bottom picture, looks like the guy (lower - center) is checking to see if his wife has found him yet. :))

CONGRATS on the newborn.
Thank you very much.

My friends and I are heading up for the entire weekend. Camping, garbing, buying, eating and drinking, shows, giant swings. We will be there the 2nd weekend of November!

The main reason I like events like this are the turkey leg vendors. I will spend all day eating them. I love those things.

My brother will be out there this weekend.

I would be going if it wasn't for the newborn.
Thank you very much.

Hes three months old and named Ryder. He's been fussy but aside from that everything is working out well.
Great name! I think I'm hearing the nickname "Red" in his future. Enjoy every minute you can with that little guy - every moment happens only once and you'll blink one day and he'll be a man and you'll be wondering where all the time went. Congratulations!

Fussy????
No wonder. He's upset that he hasn't gotten his Red Ryder BB Gun yet.
At least I know that I would be.
What is Dad waiting for??????????????????? :p
Control of his hands at the moment, but after that it's on.

That was my thought too. I like the nickname Red.

I have a five year old. Sometimes she'll say something to me and I'll give her this "Oh yeah, you can talk." kind of look.
