Finally got around to fitting the new replica Rocky Mountain front sight blade to my 1895CB. It's ready to be reblued where I rounded the ends of the dovetail base and I'm wrestling with bluing the entire blade or just the top edge. The top edge of the blade needs to be blued to provide good contrast on the target as I have done with a brass Skinner post. Just not sure if I should blue the sides of the blade. It looks like bare metal rather than plated so it may have a tendency to rust.
