i went through two of them, here in East Texas, one in 1984 and one in 1987. the one in 1987, moved my travel trailer about 10 feet into some large trees. we were on the very outer edge of the path. they say they sound like a freight train when they are coming, they do! i don't get scared of much, but tornadoes do scare me. i have seen the destruction they leave in their path. very scary stuff indeed.

I drove through Jarrell after the tornado. It was horrible. My Father is funeral director and was a first responder to the devastation.

He remembers it as the worst thing he's ever been on. They didn't have enough pall bearers so many of my "uncles" helped out.

My son inlaw had to drive home through it from classes. He's home safe and sound.
