Was just watching the local news and they showed a tornado somewhere in Australia! Didn't know they had them there. The newscster did not say when or where it was, just that they had one. Are these rare their? What kind of severe weather do ya'll have there?

Tornadoes in Oz are definitely a rarity. Because they twist in the opposite direction from the tornadoes in the Northern Hemisphere, these tornadoes tend to throw everything back into place rather than takin it with them.

That's why they call it Oz.:D

I have never been in one and pray I never will. That's about all I can say. They are too dangerous for ME to mess with.

I was wondering if that was true.
Bloody hell yeah !
The first thing we did when we went on holidays to the Northern Hemisphere was to fill the sink, and then pull the plug, and watch it empty.

I was so fascinated I did it 6 or 7 times in a row, and laughed.

Then figured that at Midday the sun pointed South, where as in Oz it faces North.
That is what really screwed my brain, and got me lost 5 or 6 times.
Fast to catch on, ain't I
Hehehehehe

I would have done the same thing.

I rad an article recently that said the Coriolus Effect is negated by the fixture most of the time.

I bet Australians hate that song.

I on the other hand am listening to it now.
