Best describes as
Sambar Stags are big, but not quiet an Elk
Sambar Does are as big as a Jersey Cow

Guys
Easily tracked on Google Earth

WE camp at a Place called "the Horse Yard", just off Kellys Lane, near the Gorge, on the Mount Howitt Road
37 24'02.27 S
146 45'12.00 E

From there we Radiate out in all directions, that the Game Trails take us
The grassy areas are actually Snow Plains
The Bush is incredibly thick.
Check out the foto's from last May's Hunt, and the Snow

First foto was the afternoon before the second foto

That place looks awesome!! I want to go !!
I looked up Sambar Deer, as I never heard of them before, magnificent animals,
if I had the finances, I would love to visit and hunt them.
