Dang new machines here . Color in the circles on a paper ballot , insert it into the machine , it scans it and then the dang thing just says " yep , ballot cast " . 
Last ones we had here scanned the ballot and put it up on a screen for you to see what the machine read so you could be sure your ballot was read correctly. With an OK or NO option before it got counted.
