Well I'm mostly hard rock, but here lately I can't get enough of Adele.

Watching that last video inspired me to do another one. I sure hope this chick doesn't burn out.

There are a couple good 'classic rock' and 'alternative rock' stations that come in good at my house. However, I really only listen to the radio three times a week while I work out for an hour. The rest of the time I will pop a cd in the computer or just run my playlist from the media player.

I use Pandora for most of my radio needs.

If I want to listen to an album, or select my music, I use Grooveshark.

Both sites are paid through by ads so no pirating.

I grew up on Alternative so I have a particular love for grunge.

Thanks for the links. I'll have to check those out. I know I'm suppose to be too old to like Nirvana...but I love their music. 'Smells like teen spirit', is the most influential song of the 90's.

I got real burned out on classic rock when it was new. Now I can't stand to listen to a classic rock station. There is much of it I love, but most is old and worn out. I started listening to alternative stations when I got here. I love the stuff that Nirvana got started. Pearl Jam's "The Fixer" from a few years ago really spoke to me like few tunes ever have. I'm currently rediscovering what was called new wave in the early eighties and is now called 1st wave. I didn't like it back then (still stuck on classic rock), but now it reminds me of my young adult days and lots of it are real good.
