Maybe some will remember this, back in the 60's and even now the series called " The Rifleman". What type of rifle did Lucas McCain use, and was it modified?

That is pretty close looking even if it looks more modern then the site you gave me before. Thanks for the info

The Winchester has a forend end cap and the Marlin has a barrel band on the forend
