If its for your job how is is "personal"....In the army we didn`t call M 16 a personal defense weapon.....

I'm of a similar disposition.

I'm all for renaming assault weapons sport rifles. I don't like the term assault. It started a bad term for them and we made it our own, but it's still a point of contention.

Personal Defense Rifles or Modern Sporting Rifles .

Or just semi automatic rifles.
