A new scope for my MarkII TR build
An Apachee Trigger kit for the Savage
A new front rest
A new rear Bag

A hard case for transporting rifles to away matches (I plan on doing some in 2015)

A wheeled cart with stackable boxes for hauling shooting gear to away matches. Looking at DeWalt(big $$) Stanley ?

And of course more ammo (match) ... I pick up 200-500 rounds every two weeks or so. Will do this till April when the bench rest season starts around here.
I need to ad a scope for my Marlin 60
I'm getting a scope for my 60, too. The Simmons ProMag 3-9 is $19.95 after $30 rebate until 12-31.
Also looking for a smaller CC gun, probably the Springer XDsc.
A work bench for gun related stuff. Probably build it, that way I can customize it to my needs, plus it will be much sturdier than a bought one.
Ammo.
You both need ammo, one never has enough ammo :D
Bigger & more secure gun safe
I hope y'all find the things you need.
No short list here. Can't think of a thing that I need or want. At least anything that money can buy.
Keep the suggestions coming. Maybe I'll see something to start the short list with.

I may pass on getting the MVP in 5.56. I will be shooting reloads most of the time and I will be getting once fired brass to supplement the empties I have. If I am going to turn the cases into a 223 and shoot reloads I may spend a few hundred less and get an Axis. I like Savage anyway. I will have to trade off or sell one of my rifles and that will probably be the 336W. I have the 308 Savage, and the 30-30 was just for fun. I have all the reloading stuff for it and the 308, so the .30-30 dies as well as the empties and loaded ammo will be for sale or trade.
I see there is a nice write up article on Savage package deals with boresighted scopes in Januarys American Rifleman magazine. They have synthetic stocks I much rather have wood furniture.

Thanks 4...I just got my issue today so I will read up on it. I like wood better also. I imagine that the synthetic stock is the reason the cost of these rifles is so much lower. If I get the Axis I will want to get a Boyd's stock for it. I have 3 other rifles with plastic stocks and I have read that the Axis stocks are a bit mushy, so I want to get something a bit nicer. Boyd's stocks are affordable and niiiiice.
I got a short list too...

Ak-47 variant of some type....I already built an AR but with the crazy prices of lowers lately I might build a AR pistol? I need a EDC narrowed down to 3 m&p .40, springfield xd (s, m or mod 2) in .40 or glock .40 maybe 10mm if ammo allows.
SWO1, you might try some of the Husky brand wheeled carriers at Home Depot. Find them in the tool section. They are built very sturdy.

Thanks for the mention of Home Depot. I checked out the Husky boxes on their Web Site. Not exactly what I was looking for. BUT ..... they have the BEST prices on the Dewalt Tough System Cart. Almost $40 cheaper (with my 10% discount) than anywhere else. The other pieces are about the same but again with 10% off ITS A GREAT DEAL. Dewalt has ALL the different boxes that fit my requirements EXACTLY.

Thanks Gumpy ....... :D

HOME DEPOT .... Here I come, I have two about 40 miles from me, in different directions of course.
2015 list:

1. Marlin 22 rifles, as many as I can find
2. Marlin 336, 30-30, JM stamped
3. Beretta M9A3
4. Beretta 71 or 72
5. 5000 rounds CCI Standard Velocity 22LR
6. 2000 rounds of Blazer Brass 115gr FMJ 9mm

I need a raise.
Does any one have any experience with 10mm vs 38 super ammo availability and price? Thank You
Just 44 mag brass if I can find any.
+1 here for reloading components.

I just need a home defense handgun. I sold my 38 special to get an MRI. Been sick ever since. Hard to protect your family with a MRI DVD! Lol

Gumpy .... take a look at the Rock Island .38s. In 4" (model 200) and 2" snubby (model 206). I have the 4", its all steel and 6 shot. It shoots pretty darn good, a great trigger, in SA and Double Action. I shot the snubby at the Fall Missouri Rock Slide and it was OK, like the 4" better. Both well under $300. For SD, across the room am sure the snubby would be fine. With my hot reloads the snubby kept them all CENTER MASS AT 7 YARDS. Colt Detective Special Reloaders work in them.

Oh I have to mention the LIFE TIME WARRENTY ....... It goes with the gun, no matter how many owners. The Rock Island US facility is in Parump, NV. They pick up the shipping BOTH WAYS .....cant beat that.
