What's your favorite Marlin?

    The only one I have shot or owned... is the 81-dl bolt action. I'm not sure if all Marlins trigger pull is so smooth, or just the one I have.

    My favorites, a 308mx that I did some custom jobs to. Straight grip conversion and full length mag tube. And the absolute favorite, a 444p. Put a Skinner peep on it, and I simply love this one...

    first it was my dad's 39A, then it was my 39A, then it was my 336, now it's moving towards my 45-70

    my favorite Marlin? got to be my Marlin X7's! IMO, one of the best bolt actions available.

    My favorite Marlin now is my 1894C, 357/38, picked it up a couple weeks ago.

    I'd have to vote for my stainless model 60 with the laminated stock (as seen in the 22 photo thread). I like the way it looks. It shoots very well and the ammo is less expensive. What's not to like???
    That's my story and I'm sticking to it - at least for now. :))

    It would have to be the Model 25N. It's the only Marlin I own at the moment ;).
